Vegan food taking Berlin by storm
The vegan lifestyle is becoming more popular every day in Berlin. In summer 2016, there are 43 restaurants in the German capital that use no animal products in their cooking. Vegan ingredients are not only the basis of the latest food trends in the German capital, but also many other sustainable products offered in Berlin.

My personal BERLIN 365/24
Dining:
Super Concept Space: my favourite restaurant! Finally a cool restaurant near Kurfürstendamm: a unique mixture of pop-up shop, fancy restaurant, and cosy lounge. Great and unusual products to purchase and an excellent restaurant serving crossover cuisine. The service staff also looks very posh, but are never too refined to assist guests with their choice of food and drink.
New sites:
THE GATE: a new multimedia museum directly at the Brandenburg Gate. A 20-minute film tells the history of the Brandenburg Gate and Berlin as a whole. I find this film very emotional. From goosebumps to amazement, from sadness to tears of joy: it's all there. The perfect introduction to the city and its rollercoaster history.
Shopping:
Frau Tonis Parfum: an entirely different kind of journey for the senses! I love this small boutique shop on Zimmerstraße. The fragrances are exquisite and only available at Frau Tonis. The shop is small, but very tasteful and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. For me, the highlight is the introductory course where you can create your own scent. You can then buy refills of it, of course, even online.
