Excellent news from green, active, healthy and culinary Slovenia – Ana Roš, the queen of innovative cuisine, has been crowned the World’s Best Female Chef. You can try her delicious creations at Hiša Franko in Kobarid, a small town in western Slovenia.
Are you looking for interesting ideas to spice up your week? On Wednesday, 8th February, Slovenia is celebrating a national cultural holiday – Prešeren Day. On this day, cultural programmes in galleries and museums and at Prešeren’s landmarks are free of charge.
We have a further reason to celebrate – it’s been a year since the ‘human fish’ at Postojna Cave laid an egg. Since then, 21 juvenile olms have been developing in the controlled environment at the cave.
