With free entry or a reduced admission price to more than 70 tourist attractions and the free use of buses and trains, the Luxembourg Card is an essential travel companion for families and singles, who want to explore Luxembourg.
Luxembourg’s star restaurants
The new Michelin Benelux guide and Gault & Millau honor those restaurants, which cater for gourmets and live up to high expectations. In Luxembourg, Michelin has reviewed 72 restaurants and given out 11 stars and 15 Bib Gourmands. For the first time, the Gault & Millau guide has published an edition, which focuses on Luxembourg’s best restaurants. A Taste of Luxembourg contains a selection of 75 restaurants. In comparison to other countries, the Grand Duchy has an incredibly high density of gastronomic restaurants and is a great destination for gourmets and foodies.
Mondorf-les-Bains: where wellness equals philosophy of life
The discovery of a thermal spring in 1847, transformed Mondorf-les-Bains into Luxembourg’s only health resort. The current and already large offer in the Domaine Thermal has been expanded with more saunas. Since the 19th century, an exquisite wellness offer, the purity of the water spring, the mild climate, the elegant parks, the historic architecture and a large choice of events are part of the health resort’s success.
Eurewelcome - Tourism for all
Luxembourg is a great holiday destination and has a lot to offer. 40 tourist sites and attractions and an equal number of hotels, restaurants, camping sites and holiday rental homes were awarded the quality label Eurewelcome. This label distinguishes infrastructures and services, which go through great lengths to fulfil their guest’s wishes and accommodate those with a reduced mobility or disabilities. Through strict selection criteria, the establishments with the Eurewelcome label guarantee relaxing holidays with the family.
A website to promote MICE tourism
European capital, international finance hub, a university research centre, a freight logistic centre and an ICT promoter: Luxembourg boasts more than 100 meeting infrastructures to host congresses and seminars. The country’s multilingual character, the stability of the political system, a dynamic economy, a high quality of life, the safest capital in the world (Mercer Quality of Living Survey) and the extensive experience in organising EU summits, characterise Luxembourg’s excellent position in the MICE sector (meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions). In addition, most infrastructures are located close to the countryside.
