Великобритания: Ливерпуль для групп в 2017 году. Liverpool city region is gearing up to putting on a fantastic range of events, exhibitions and festivals over the whole of 2017.
The city will host 67-17: 50 Summers of Love; a season of events and performances inspired by the golden anniversary of the Summer of Love between April and September.
1967 saw some of the biggest cultural shifts of a generation and the moment the avant-garde forced its way into the mainstream. Liverpool played a big part, it being the year Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was released, The Mersey Sound poetry anthology was published, the Metropolitan Cathedral was opened and homosexuality was decriminalised in the UK.
Other group friendly events will include Armed Forces Day and Mersey River Festival (both 24 - 25 June) Liverpool International Music Festival (21 – 23 July) and One Magical City – Liverpool’s Christmas themed extravaganza.
