Зеленый, активный и здоровый отдых в Словении вдохновляет мир!

Зеленый, активный и здоровый отдых в  Словении вдохновляет мир!

The rich Slovenian beekeeping tradition and heritage thrilled journalists at National Geographic India, while Kranjska Gora, a popular winter and summer destination, was ranked among the best ski resorts in Europe.

Slovenia is also contributing to science! The prestigious medical journal, the New England Journal of Medicine, published a research study from Slovenian scientists, who have made a remarkable discovery about the Zika virus. In addition, Matevž Lenarčič, the Slovenian pilot and environmentalist, is planning a new journey around the world in an ultralight aircraft to measure the concentrations of black carbon along the way.

We also have other reasons to celebrate. Radovljica’s Lectar workshop marked the 250-year anniversary of “lectarstvo”, one of the oldest crafts in Slovenia. The Walk of Peace, which links the memorials and remains from the Isonzo (Soča) Front of World War 1, has made it onto the Unesco World Heritage Tentative List.

Treat yourself to a relaxing time at the Slovenian natural spas, which are expecting another successful year and are making new investments. Last year, the chain of Sava Hotels and Resorts achieved a new record - over 1 million overnight stays.

Enjoy the news from Slovenia!
