At ITB Berlin 2017, Slovenia turned the Berlin fair bright green and won the National Geographic World Legacy Award in the Destination Leadership segment, which is a wonderful recognition of the sustainable practices and development of our country. While we were still celebrating, National Geographic surprised us with an image of Bled on the cover of their new catalogue for luxury travel.
Since spring is just around the corner, we have prepared some ideas for an interesting retreat in Slovenia – you can enjoy culinary pampering in 15 Slovenian restaurants today (21st March); visit the Nordic spectacle in Planica, starting in the middle of the week; or prepare for the season of hiking and biking.
