As of January 2017, every guest sleeping in a hotel, youth hostel or camping will be allowed to enjoy free train and bus transportation, as well as different discounts on tourist attractions.

In March the trains will once again climb up the 10-km long railway track to the Mount Generoso top at 1704 m a.s.l., where the new building “Fiore di Pietra” (stone flower), designed by the famous architect Mario Botta, is to be inaugurated. The building stands on the cliff edge and offers a stunning 360-degree view. The massive stone flower will house 2 panoramic restaurants with terrace hosting up to 150 people and a conference room with 100 seats. Be among the first to discover Ticino’s brand new landmark!
