The new Moomin Museum will open its doors in Tampere Hall on 9 May 2017. Before that, “the Making of Moomin Museum” exhibition in Tampere Hall tells the story about building the new museum and shows how much care the museum artefacts need before they are put on display. The exhibition is free of charge. During this autumn, Tampere Hall will also open a new gift shop where Moomin products and Finnish design are the main attraction; and for groups and tour operators, we will launch internet campaign pages that show the packages available for Moomin tourists.
